This policy explains what Pincode Khojo collects when you use the site, and what it deliberately does not.
What we do not collect
You do not need an account to use this directory. We do not ask for your name, address, phone number or postal details, and there is nothing to sign up for. Searching for a PIN code does not create a record tied to you.
What we do collect
Search queries
Search terms are processed to return results. They are not stored against any identifier that could link them back to you.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, we store the name, email address, subject and message you submit, along with your IP address and browser user agent, so that we can reply and to limit spam. These messages are retained only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.
Server logs
Our hosting provider records standard web server logs, which include IP addresses, requested pages, timestamps and user agents. These are used for security and troubleshooting.
Analytics
If analytics are enabled on this site, we use Google Analytics to understand which pages are used and how visitors arrive. Google may set cookies and process data in accordance with its own privacy policy.
Advertising
If advertising is enabled, third-party advertising networks including Google AdSense may set cookies and use device identifiers to serve and measure advertisements. The site itself sets a session cookie only where required for a form submission, to protect against cross-site request forgery. Any other cookies come from the analytics and advertising providers described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the directory will continue to work.
