About
Pincode Khojo is an independent directory of Indian PIN codes and post offices. It exists to answer one question quickly: which post offices use a given PIN code, and where are they.
What you will find here
Every PIN code page lists the post offices that use it, along with each office’s type, delivery status, district, state, and the postal circle, region and division that administer it. Where the source data includes coordinates, those are shown too.
You can search by PIN code, post office name, district or state, and browse the whole directory by state and district.
Where the data comes from
The directory is built from a public India Post PIN code dataset, imported in full rather than typed in by hand or generated. Nothing on a PIN code page is invented: if a field is missing from the source, the page says so instead of filling the gap.
A small number of records in the source arrive without a district or state. Where another record under the same PIN code supplies that information, we use it. Where nothing in the dataset can resolve it, the record is held back from the public pages rather than assigned to a location we guessed.
What this site is not
We are not India Post, and we are not connected to the Government of India in any way. We cannot track parcels, open or change a postal account, redirect mail, or act on any postal matter. For anything of that kind, contact India Post directly at indiapost.gov.in.
Corrections
Postal data changes, and public datasets lag behind reality. If you find something wrong, tell us — include the PIN code and the post office name and we will look at it.
